Rrahman Rama, a member of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (KIA) Oversight Committee from the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), has stated that the security situation in Kosovo remains stable. His remarks came after KIA Director Petrit Ajeti reported to the committee.
Following the meeting of the KIA Oversight Committee, Rama explained that discussions focused on security issues and Serbia’s hybrid warfare.
“We were briefed on the security situation, particularly the threats that may come from Serbia and that remain persistent, as well as cyber warfare. We are all genuinely concerned about the hybrid warfare taking place not only in Kosovo, but also across the region and beyond,” he stressed.
He said that the meeting also reaffirmed their readiness to support the KIA and its director, Petrit Ajeti.
Rama also described the security situation in northern Kosovo as normal.
“The rule of law and public order prevail in the north as well, and things are under control. We have no extraordinary concerns,” Rama added.
