The Student List, which won Serbia’s elections, has warned in a post on the social media platform X that a “certain interest group” may stage incidents in Belgrade tonight.
According to the list’s post, the alleged target of the staged attack would be the newsroom of the newspaper Informer, while responsibility for the incident would reportedly be pinned on the students.
The post reads:
“We have reason to believe that tonight a certain interest group will attempt to stage incidents in Belgrade.
The alleged target of the staged attack will be the newsroom of the newspaper Informer, while they will try to attribute responsibility to the students.
We urge you not to respond to such calls and to approach any information that is circulated critically.
We know who has an interest in portraying students as perpetrators of violence, and we emphasize that this attempt will not succeed.”
