The 2nd Manoeuvre Company of the Hungarian KFOR Tactical Reserve Battalion has conducted a helicopter training exercise in Kosovo in cooperation with Swiss peacekeepers.
According to a statement from KFOR, the main objective of the exercise was to strengthen cooperation between countries contributing to the NATO-led mission and provide Hungarian soldiers with practical experience in air transport operations.
“During the exercise, Hungarian soldiers learned and practised procedures for deploying and operating alongside the Swiss Air Force’s Super Puma transport helicopters,” the statement said.
KFOR emphasised the importance of joint international training exercises in supporting peacekeepers in carrying out their daily duties.
“Such activities are essential in supporting peacekeepers in their daily tasks by enhancing their ability to rapidly transport troops and carry out effective redeployments, while ensuring seamless cooperation with international partners,” the KFOR statement added.
