The Kosovo Police have announced that they successfully recovered a vehicle from Lake Ujman that had sunk in October last year.
According to the police statement, the joint recovery operation began at approximately 10:00 a.m. and involved regular police units and specialized units of the Kosovo Police (NJSO, NJRSH, and NJNSH), in cooperation with the National Search and Rescue Team, the Emergency Management Agency, and the “Trepça” Diving Club.
After locating the vehicle, the participating units successfully recovered it from the lake at approximately 12:40 p.m.
The police stated that the incident was initially reported on October 14, 2025, by a citizen who said that his vehicle, which had been parked off the road near Lake Ujman, had fallen into the water under unclear circumstances and subsequently sunk.
Following its recovery, the vehicle was handed over to its rightful owner.
