Early this morning, inspectors from the Ministry of Trade of Kosovo carried out business inspections at 15 fuel stations in the north. These inspections took place at three stations in Zubin Potok, one in North Mitrovica, four in Zveçan, and seven in Leposaviq.
Inspection Details
The inspections focused on verifying work licenses and other relevant documents. Veton Elshani, the Deputy Commander of Police for the North region, confirmed this to the portal rtv21.tv. “Inspectors conducted checks at three private fuel stations, requesting work permits and other documentation from the owners. The inspections in Zubin Potok have concluded, and these stations have not been closed,” Elshani stated.
Police Assistance
The Kosovo Police in the North assisted in these inspections. Further visits to other fuel stations in the north are planned for today.
Recent Closures
It is noteworthy that within the past week, Kosovo’s inspection authorities have closed a total of five fuel stations across the four municipalities in the north.
