The Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, has announced that today, 20 cadets from the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) have embarked on their journey to become future officers.
In a Facebook post, he expressed pride and excitement as he witnesses the growth and development of Kosovo’s army.
“Today, you are starting an important phase in your lives, not an easy one, but one of great significance for you and for the strengthening of the professional capacities of the army. The next four years will build your life foundation, both physically and mentally. You will have the opportunity to learn combat and battlefield techniques from your superiors that apply to both yourselves and the group you will lead,” Maqedonci wrote.
He emphasized that in this time of global and local security challenges, the development of military capabilities is essential.
“As the Minister of Defense, together with the KSF Commander, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, and with the support of the Government, we are making continuous efforts to invest in the enhancement of the professional capacities of our military personnel alongside investments in armaments. I assure you that you will always have my and the Government’s support,” he concluded.
