The UEFA decision regarding the UEFA Nations League match between Romania and Kosovo, which was interrupted two minutes before the final whistle, is still pending. This is the only match from the fifth round of the competition without a final result.

The match was halted after the Kosovo national team refused to continue playing due to racist chants from Romanian supporters. Kosovo filed a formal complaint to UEFA regarding the conduct of the Romanian fans, leading to the current suspension of the game.

UEFA is expected to make a decision on the outcome of the match soon. The final round of Group 2 in League C, where both Kosovo and Romania play, will take place on Monday. Kosovo will host Lithuania, while Romania will face Cyprus.

According to UEFA regulations, a decision must be made before the next round of fixtures, meaning UEFA could announce its verdict on Sunday or, at the latest, on Monday before the match between Kosovo and Lithuania.

Kosovo withdrew from the game after the racist chants from Romanian ultras, feeling insulted by the discriminatory behavior. Under UEFA’s rules regarding match abandonment, the Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK) may face sanctions, but the final outcome of the match is still uncertain.

At the time of the interruption, the score was 0-0.

Kosovo was in second place in the group, three points behind Romania, which led the group.
