The Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV) has accused the Election Complaints and Appeals Panel (PZAP) of deviating from the decision regarding postal vote re-voting, reports Rks News.

The party has filed a complaint seeking the annulment of these postal votes and has called for a new process through the postal service.

In this regard, LVV has accused PZAP of not respecting the deadlines and disregarding the request to annul the postal votes.

Today, during a meeting of the Central Election Commission (CEC), the Director of the CEC Secretariat, Besnik Buzhala, provided clarification on this issue.

He stated that the deadline for complaints started on March 4 at 16:00 and ended on March 6 at the same time.

“It is true that on March 5 at 21:03, I sent an email notifying the entire CEC that the counting process at the CEC had been completed. There is also a notice on the CEC website stating that the counting of ballots from postal voting was completed on March 4 at 16:00. When PZAP made its decision, it referred to this notice that was on the website,” said Buzhala.
