The EU Special Representative for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Peter Sorensen, before leaving Kosovo, stopped at the Merdare border crossing, which he described as modern.
Sorensen, in a post on the platform ‘X,’ shared that before his departure, he visited the Merdare border crossing, which was built by the European Union. According to him, it is now time to increase cooperation in order to modernize all other border crossings between Kosovo and Serbia.
“Before leaving Kosovo, I stopped at Merdare – a modern crossing point built by the EU. It’s time to increase cooperation to modernize all other border points between Kosovo and Serbia,” Sorensen wrote.
