A fire was reported earlier near the “American Clinic” in the Arbëria neighborhood of Prishtina. Three fire trucks were seen at the scene, according to Rks News.
Footage from the site shows an increased presence of emergency forces who responded immediately after reports of flames in part of the building adjacent to the clinic.
In response, the clinic issued a statement clarifying that the fire did not occur inside the clinic premises, but in the side area of the building.
“The American Clinic ‘Dr. Behar Kusari’ informs the public that the situation earlier today did not involve any fire inside the clinic. The fire occurred on the side of the building. We thank the firefighters and the Kosovo Police for their swift response and professional cooperation,” the clinic stated.
They emphasized that the situation is under control and that services for patients were never interrupted.
“The operational plan and 24/7 services are being carried out by the professional medical staff, and at no point has there been, nor will there be, any interruption in service. We thank all patients for their trust and cooperation and assure them of our continued commitment to professional care and service,” the statement concluded.
