Following the completion of vote counting, Albania’s Central Election Commission announced that the Socialist Party has secured 83 seats in the national parliament.
Prime Minister Edi Rama took to Facebook to thank citizens for their trust and invited supporters to gather tonight at 7:00 PM in Skanderbeg Square, Tirana.
“Good morning, and admitting that I can’t find the right words to speak tonight at 7 in Skanderbeg Square, I thank you humbly for your boundless trust and wish you a good day,” Rama wrote.
