French President Emmanuel Macron has warned that new sanctions will be imposed on Russia if it refuses to accept an unconditional ceasefire.
In an interview with TF1 on the evening of May 13, Macron emphasized that France and other European nations are pushing for a ceasefire by land, sea, and air, to pave the way for talks on territorial issues and security guarantees.
He confirmed that European countries are coordinating new sanctions and that these measures will be implemented in the coming days if Moscow does not agree to end the war unconditionally.
