U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed uncertainty about whether Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend the Ukraine peace talks scheduled for Thursday in Turkey.
“He wants me to be there, and that’s a possibility… I don’t know if he’ll show up if I’m not there. We’ll see,” Trump told reporters traveling with him aboard Air Force One en route to Qatar, according to Reuters.
Trump has previously stated he may visit Turkey for the talks as part of his ongoing Middle East trip.
