Due to the official visit of the President of the European Council, Antonio Luis Santos da Costa, to Kosovo, the Kosovo Police have announced measures to ensure public order and safety.
According to the police statement, there will be temporary traffic interruptions on certain road segments during May 14–15, 2025, to allow the free movement of the delegation and smooth execution of scheduled activities.
“In coordination with relevant authorities, the Kosovo Police will be actively engaged in maintaining public order and calm during President Costa’s visit to the Republic of Kosovo,” the statement reads.
To ensure unobstructed movement along the planned routes and accommodate high-level meetings, short-term traffic interruptions will be enforced on some roads. Alternative routes will be suggested, and citizens are kindly asked for their understanding and cooperation.
