The Acting First Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, met today with Jiri Plecity, Head of the Kosovo Division at the European Commission.
During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi emphasized Kosovo’s unwavering commitment to the European integration process and its path toward joining the European family.
He also stressed the urgent need for the removal of sanctions against Kosovo, which, according to him, were imposed unjustly and remain in place unfairly, despite the recommendation for their removal made nearly a year ago by the former EU High Representative, Josep Borrell.
