Elected deputies are set to convene again today at 11:00 AM in the Kosovo Assembly for the 29th attempt to constitute the ninth legislature.

On Saturday, the acting Speaker, Avni Dehari, once again invited parliamentary political entities that had not yet proposed their members for the electoral commission, tasked with electing the Assembly Speaker by secret ballot, to do so. However, there were no new proposals for commission members. For the current composition of the commission, with members proposed in previous sessions, 48 deputies voted in favor, with no votes against or abstentions.

LDK Leader Predicts Another Failed Session

The leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, stated last night via Facebook that today’s session is also expected to conclude without a resolution. He reiterated his insistence on forming a Government of Unity and announced he would present a 15-point agenda, a concrete platform for cooperation.
