Osmani on Official Visit to Hungary, to Meet with President and Speaker of Parliament

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has departed for an official visit to Hungary at the invitation of Hungarian President Tamás Sulyok, according to a statement from the Office of the Presidency.

The visit will begin with a formal welcoming ceremony with military honors in Kossuth Lajos Square in Budapest, followed by a one-on-one meeting between the two presidents. Later, extended discussions will be held between the delegations of both countries.

As part of the agenda, President Sulyok will host an official luncheon in honor of President Osmani and her delegation at the Sándor Palace.

During her visit, President Osmani will also be received by László Kövér, the Speaker of the Hungarian Parliament.

In addition, Osmani will deliver a lecture at Eötvös Loránd University, addressing students and faculty on the topic:
“Kosovo and its European Future: Regional Cooperation, Global Engagement, and the Road Ahead.”
She will present Kosovo’s foreign policy priorities, particularly its path toward Euro-Atlantic integration.

The visit will also include meetings with economic chambers in Hungary to explore avenues of economic cooperation.
