Peja 03, the elite women’s basketball team from the beautiful city of Peja, will make its historic debut in EuroCup Women, Europe’s second-most prestigious competition for women’s basketball. In the new edition, the team from Peja will compete in the group stage, opening a new chapter for Kosovo basketball on the international stage.

Rapid Rise and Club Development

Founded just a few years ago by former basketball player Endrit Basha, Peja 03 has quickly established a stable organization and financial stability, serving as an example for other clubs in Kosovo. In addition to internal development, the club has worked intensively on completing its squad, bringing in high-quality players from abroad and within the country.

Historic Achievement and Future Prospects

The official team presentation for the new season, promising many challenges and excitement, is expected soon. This historic achievement by Peja 03 is a testament to the growth and dedication of the Peja club to women’s basketball in Kosovo and a great opportunity to showcase its potential on the European scene.

This is undoubtedly a historic moment for the team and Peja basketball, but also for Kosovo basketball itself, as mega-teams compete for this trophy, and participation at such levels is great advertising for Kosovar basketball.

It is worth noting that the Serbian team Crvena Zvezda is also highly likely to participate in this competition and could even be an opponent of Peja in the group stage.
