Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani continued her series of consultative meetings with political party leaders today, hosting Nenad Rašić, chairman of the “For Freedom, Justice, and Survival” party.
The meetings are part of ongoing efforts to overcome the political deadlock that has stalled the constitution of Kosovo’s new Assembly and to foster political dialogue among parliamentary entities.
President Osmani initiated this new round of consultations following the recent decision by the Constitutional Court, which provided greater clarity on the process of constituting the Assembly. The meetings are being held separately with each political leader to facilitate an agreed-upon and functional solution.
Later today, President Osmani is also expected to meet with representatives of various communities.
