Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani today hosted Yuriko Backes, the Minister of Defense of Luxembourg, for an official meeting.
According to an announcement on the official website of the Luxembourgish government, Minister Backes’ visit includes important meetings and activities. She is accompanied by her Belgian counterpart, Minister of Defense and Foreign Trade Theo Francken, and the Chief of Staff of the Army, General Steve Thull.
During her visit, Minister Backes will also meet with members of the Benelux Air Surveillance Detachment, which is led by Luxembourg and is part of the NATO Force in Kosovo (KFOR).
Additionally, the Minister’s agenda includes bilateral meetings with high-level political leaders of Kosovo, aimed at deepening cooperation and strengthening relations between the two countries.
