Michael Madsen, the actor known for his roles in the famous films Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill, passed away at the age of 67 at his home in Malibu. Authorities and representatives confirmed that he was found unresponsive and that his death is not linked to any violent circumstances, reports Rks News.

His manager, Ron Smith, announced that the cause of death was a heart attack. Madsen was declared dead this morning at 8:25 AM.

In a joint statement, his manager, manageress, and publicist praised Madsen’s extraordinary work over the past two years in independent films and his upcoming projects, including his new book Tears for My Father: Outlaw Thoughts and Poems, which was in the editing process.

Michael Madsen leaves behind a career spanning over four decades, being one of Hollywood’s most recognized and iconic figures. He will be greatly missed in the film world and by his fans.
