American Flag Raised at a Mosque in Prishtina in Honor of U.S. Independence Day

In a solemn ceremony held in the courtyard of the “Prof. Sr. Bedri Kamberi” mosque in the Hospital Neighborhood of Prishtina, the American flag was raised as a sign of gratitude and friendship between Kosovo and the United States of America, reports Rks News.

The event was organized to commemorate the 248th anniversary of U.S. Independence, highlighting America’s vital role in Kosovo’s freedom and state-building process.

The ceremony was attended by local citizens, community representatives, imams, and public figures, who praised the act as a symbol of eternal respect and appreciation for the friendship with the United States.

Imam Labinot Maliqi emphasized that the people of Kosovo will never forget this profound friendship and raised the American flag with honor and gratitude.
