During the graduation ceremony for the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) Class of 2025, acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti highlighted the progress made in the defense sector and the strengthening of KSF’s operational capacities, RKS News reports.

“We have increased the Ministry of Defense’s budget to €208 million. In the past four years, we’ve made over €300 million in investments,” Kurti stated.

He emphasized the transformation of the KSF:

“Our army is rapidly advancing toward becoming a fully capable professional military force.”

Addressing the newly graduated cadets, Kurti delivered a motivational message:

“Cadets, from today, your noble duty begins. You are the pillar upon which the structural and professional development of the KSF will continue, guiding our army toward service in the transatlantic alliance of democratic states—NATO.”

Kurti also underlined Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic path:

“Kosovo, geographically, historically, and politically, is Europe. Therefore, membership in the democratic European family is not just necessary—it is inevitable.”
