House Catches Fire in Malishevë – Two People Receive Medical Assistance

A serious incident occurred on Thursday afternoon in the town of Malishevë, where a residential house caught fire, causing panic and significant material damage, RKS News reports.

According to sources within the Fire Department, the incident happened around 13:40 on “William Walker” Street. Police units, firefighters, a KEDS team, and medical personnel from the QKMF-Malishevë were immediately dispatched to the scene.

Two individuals required medical assistance due to smoke inhalation and distress caused by the fire. Meanwhile, firefighting teams managed to contain the blaze after about 20 minutes of intensive effort.

The fire caused major material damage, but fortunately, no serious injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still unknown, and no suspects have been identified at this time.

The State Prosecutor has been informed, and the case has been classified as “Arson.” Investigations are ongoing.
