The Kosovo diaspora, supported by groups of former members of the Kosovo Liberation Army (UÇK), has organized a continuation of the protest against the Special Court, which initially started in Prishtina.

On September 14, 2025, starting at 14:00, the protest will take place in The Hague, where Thaçi, Veseli, Selimi, and Krasniqi are currently in pre-trial detention.

Activist and organizer Uk Lushi shared details about the protest, stating: “On September 14, 2025, The Hague will hear the voice of the people of Kosovo echoing from every corner of the world.” He also invited the diaspora to join the protest.

Full Statement:

Kosovo established the Special Court to ensure justice and to reject the false accusations made by the anti-American and anti-Albanian Dick Marty.

While Marty’s false claims against the UÇK were dismissed by the Special Court, other proceedings have involved unacceptable violations and breaches of due process.

The main trial against the founders of the state, Thaçi & Co., should have ended in a verdict of innocence on the day the Special Prosecution completed its procedure, as it failed to sustain any of the charges.

Kosovo and its leaders have nonetheless decided to remove any doubt and, in their defense, will present evidence from American and NATO commanders countering the falsehoods and lies of the occupying Serbian state and Milošević.

Therefore, the people of Kosovo, UÇK veterans, and anyone who understands the justice of the war—especially since the Assembly and institutions of Kosovo have failed to oversee the legal abuse by the Prosecution and the Special Court—have decided to continue civic engagement by protesting and demanding the prompt release of the founders of the Kosovo state.

Facts, evidence, and arguments show that they should be released in the name of the people of Kosovo and allowed to return to continue building and strengthening Kosovo.

Based on these truths, no prosecutor or judicial panel can issue any verdict other than the release of Kosovo’s leaders, who have ensured that the UÇK passes through the fourth filter of justice, following UNMIK, EULEX, and the Kosovo state itself.

On September 14, 2025, The Hague will hear the voice of the people of Kosovo echoing from every corner of the world.

The Court will be told that nothing else will be allowed in the name of the people except justice and freedom for Kosovo.

History cannot be changed.

Long live the state of Kosovo, where the Special Court should be established as soon as possible to prosecute Serbian, Roma, and other ethnic criminals.
