The Kosovo Judicial Council (KJC) has strongly condemned political interference in the Election Complaints and Appeals Panel (ECAP), stressing that any form of political pressure is unacceptable and dangerous.
In its statement, the KJC emphasized that ECAP is an independent institution, and any attempt to influence it represents a direct attack on the justice system and the constitutional order of the country.
The Council warned that tolerating such political pressure risks undermining citizens’ trust in both the electoral process and the judicial institutions.
The KJC called on all actors to immediately halt these unacceptable practices and to address grievances only through legal channels.
Reaffirming its full commitment to defending institutional independence, the Council vowed to react against any form of pressure that endangers the fair and lawful functioning of the judicial system.
