Tomorrow, in the Dardania neighborhood of Prishtina, at the site where police officer Triumf Riza was killed in the line of duty, a commemorative ceremony will be held next to the memorial plaque dedicated to him.
According to an official statement from the Kosovo Police, the ceremony will begin at 10:00 AM.
During the event, the foundation stone for the memorial will also be laid. The memorial will be built as a symbol of honor and remembrance for his service and sacrifice, as well as for all police officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty, reports IndeksOnline.
“The ceremony is expected to be attended by high-ranking state officials, including Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Albin Kurti, Acting Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Xhelal Sveçla, the General Director of the Kosovo Police, Colonel Gazmend Hoxha, and senior officials of the Kosovo Police,” the statement reads.
