Kosovo Assembly Speaker Dimal Basha has confirmed that he accepts the decision of the Constitutional Court regarding the interim measure requested by the Serb List, reports Reporteri.net.
Basha announced that he has immediately authorized the parliamentary administration to distribute the court decision to all members of the Assembly.
“Today, I have received the decision of the Constitutional Court regarding the interim measure in case no. KO265/25. I have immediately authorized the administration to distribute it to all deputies of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo. Thank you!” Basha stated on social media.
Key Details of the Court Decision
According to the Constitutional Court ruling, the interim measure is in effect from September 5 until September 30, 2025. During this period, all deputies are prohibited from taking any action or proceeding with the formation of the Government.
This measure aims to prevent potential risks or irreparable consequences while the main case is under review, ensuring that parliamentary procedures are temporarily suspended in the public interest.
