Serbian Citizen Arrested in Kamenica for Smuggling Goods from Serbia

The Kosovo Police have intercepted an attempt to smuggle goods from Serbia into Kosovo, arresting a Serbian citizen in Kamenica.

Authorities reported that the suspect was driving a tractor loaded with fish feed, allegedly brought into Kosovo illegally from Serbia via unofficial routes. The value of the goods is estimated at approximately €10,000.

“On 08.09.2025 at 20:20, the police unit stopped a tractor driven by a Serbian citizen, carrying goods (fish feed) suspected to have been illegally brought into the Republic of Kosovo from Serbia. The estimated value of the goods is around €10,000,” the Kosovo Police’s 24-hour report stated.

The suspect has been arrested and placed in custody following the prosecutor’s instructions. The confiscated goods were sent to the customs terminal for further processing.
