The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has awarded Major General Enrico Barduani, the outgoing KFOR Commander, with the Presidential Military Medal for his distinguished service.
According to a statement from the Presidency, during his mandate as head of NATO’s KFOR mission, General Barduani made a “valuable contribution to peace and security in Kosovo and the wider region.”
President Osmani emphasized that the medal represents Kosovo’s gratitude and NATO’s continued commitment to long-term stability:
“This decoration is a symbol of our people’s appreciation and of NATO’s unwavering dedication to lasting peace and security,” the statement reads.
The ceremony underlines Kosovo’s recognition of NATO’s crucial role in maintaining peace and fostering regional stability.
