The Chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Memli Krasniqi, was not physically present at today’s protest in The Hague, but through a Facebook post, he expressed strong support for the event and for the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) who are being tried at the Specialist Chambers.
Krasniqi praised the mobilization of thousands of citizens from Kosovo and the diaspora who gathered near the Special Court to demand justice and defend the values of the KLA’s war.
“With eyes and heart today in The Hague, where thousands of citizens and compatriots, from every corner of the homeland and the world, rose as one to protest for justice. To defend our liberators and our sacred war for freedom. Kosovo does not forget its sons,” wrote Krasniqi.
