Former Dutch ambassador to Kosovo, Robert Bosch, stated that the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) was NATO’s foot on the ground.
“To call the KLA a criminal organization is also an insult to NATO, because NATO does not cooperate with criminal organizations,” Bosch declared.
He revealed that during his time in Kosovo, there was pressure on international representatives to call on Kosovar leaders to establish the Special Court.
Bosch admitted he was against the idea, as Serbs were not indicted by this court.
“I clearly remember when I met Thaçi, and he was a little worried. I told him, ‘If it’s going to be a fair trial, you’ll be free because of the lack of evidence.’ But I was wrong, because the trial was not as serious as I had expected. As you remember, Dick Marty’s report on organ trafficking turned out to be false. Even the judge concluded that such a thing never existed, and it was a fabrication by the Serbs. Therefore, the court should have been closed because it no longer made sense to continue,” Bosch emphasized.
