The leader of Vetëvendosje, Albin Kurti, has officially launched his campaign for the upcoming local elections, responding to criticism over board appointments and allegations of corruption during four years in power.
Kurti emphasized that his party does not act in ways that could harm the public to serve personal interests.
“We never harm the public to fulfill someone’s private desires. This approach is why the people have supported us and continue to support us so strongly,” Kurti said.
The statement comes as Vetëvendosje intensifies its outreach ahead of the local elections, focusing on citizen engagement and administrative transparency.
