U.S. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump have departed for the United Kingdom for his second state visit.
The flight from Washington to London is expected to take approximately seven hours, with global attention focused on official meetings and statements during the visit.
Before departure, Trump spoke to reporters at the White House, praising King Charles and Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
“I consider King Charles a friend of mine, and this is the first time someone has been honored with two state visits,” Trump said.
He also highlighted that the British government aims to improve the trade agreement between the two countries and described the existing arrangement as “an excellent deal.”
