Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has started her official visit to the United States with a meeting with the Kosovo diaspora in Waterbury, Connecticut.
The president expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and emphasized the continued love and dedication of the diaspora toward their homeland.
“A special gratitude goes to the ‘Hasan Prishtina’ Association and to our compatriots for their participation,” Osmani wrote in her statement.
This gathering marks the first step of Osmani’s U.S. visit, which is expected to include further meetings with both the Albanian community abroad and American officials.
