Osmani Meets NATO Admiral: Discusses Security in the North and Ongoing Threats from Serbia

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani met today with Admiral Stuart B. Munsch, Commander of NATO’s Allied Joint Force Command in Naples.

During the meeting, President Osmani praised the role of KFOR and its tireless commitment to ensuring peace and security for the people of Kosovo. She emphasized that cooperation between Kosovo’s security institutions and KFOR remains essential for the shared mission of stability in the country.

Osmani reiterated that Kosovo is fully committed to its Euro-Atlantic path, building the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) in line with NATO standards and fulfilling all obligations towards the Alliance.

She also highlighted the ongoing security challenges in northern Kosovo and the continuous threats from Serbia, stressing the crucial role of KFOR in preventing escalation and maintaining peace.

The President expressed gratitude for NATO’s continued support and reaffirmed Kosovo’s determination to remain a reliable and active partner of the democratic world.
