Following his appointment as the new Commander of KFOR, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received Major General Özkan Ulutaş in a meeting yesterday.
On this occasion, President Osmani congratulated him on assuming his new post and on his return to Kosovo, expressing full confidence in the continuation of close cooperation to achieve their common goals of maintaining peace and security in Kosovo and the region. In this spirit, she reiterated her gratitude for the dedication and commitment of all the soldiers serving within KFOR.
During the discussion on security developments and threats emanating from Serbia – particularly those related to the use of drones – President Osmani emphasized the importance of KFOR’s coordination and cooperation with Kosovo’s security institutions to prevent Serbia’s destabilizing tactics.
