Nenad Rashiq was today elected Deputy Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo from the Serb community, with 71 votes in favor, 9 against, and 24 abstentions. Alongside Vetëvendosje, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) also voted in favor, while the AAK and PDK abstained.
However, the Nisma party was absent from the session.
Its leader, Fatmir Limaj, who did not attend the sitting, reacted by calling Rashiq’s election unconstitutional.
“The election of Rashiq is unconstitutional,” Limaj stated.
