Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has wished success to Albin Kurti, leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, following his mandate to form a new government.
After issuing the decree appointing Kurti as the mandate-holder, Osmani expressed her hope that Kosovo will soon have a government with a full constitutional mandate.
In a post on her Facebook page, the president stated she hopes the new government will make decisions for the benefit of the country and all citizens.
“Today, in accordance with my constitutional competencies, I have mandated the Acting Prime Minister, Mr. Albin Kurti, to form the Government of the Republic of Kosovo. I hope that the Republic of Kosovo will soon have a government with a full constitutional mandate, where decisions will be made for the good of the country and all our citizens,” Osmani wrote.
