Kosovo’s Acting Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, has been awarded one of the highest international military honors, being inducted into the “Hall of Fame” of the US Army War College.

The ceremony, held in the United States, was attended by General Randy A. George, Chief of Staff of the US Army, which further underscored the significance of this recognition.

“It is a lifelong honor for me to receive this distinction, being placed in the Hall of Fame of the US Army War College,” said Minister Maqedonci.

In a post on Facebook, Maqedonci emphasized that this award represents not only a personal achievement, but also a reflection of the collective work carried out with many defense professionals in Kosovo throughout his career.

“I consider this recognition not only as a personal accomplishment but also as a testament to the dedication, professionalism, and shared efforts of all those with whom I have had the privilege to serve during my career,” Maqedonci wrote.

He expressed gratitude to the US Army War College for this honor and for the opportunity to complete his studies there years ago — an experience he described as formative for both his professional and personal life.

“This honor further strengthens my belief in the power of service, leadership, and lifelong learning — values that transcend borders and unite all those who serve their country and community,” he concluded.
