The Commander of the KFOR mission, Major General Özkan Ulutaş, met with Montenegro’s Minister of Defence, Dragan Krapović, and the Chief of Defence, Brigadier General Miodrag Vuksanović, at the Ministry of Defence in Podgorica.
During the meeting, they discussed the security situation in Kosovo and KFOR’s ongoing contribution to regional stability.
Major General Ulutaş expressed appreciation for Montenegro’s consistent support for KFOR’s mission and the professionalism of the Montenegrin personnel deployed within KFOR, according to the mission’s press office.
KFOR reaffirmed that it continues to fulfill its mandate to ensure a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement for all people in Kosovo, working closely with the Kosovo Police and EULEX within their respective security roles.
