The voting process in the capital has been unfolding calmly and without incident, as citizens cast their ballots for the new mayor of Pristina.
At the “Sami Frashëri” High School, one of the key polling centers in the city, the process has been described as smooth and well-organized, according to members of the election commission, KosovaPress reports.
Voters expressed satisfaction with how the election is being managed.
“Everything went smoothly, I had no difficulties voting,” said Qamile Murtezi, one of the early voters.
Another citizen, Esat Ejupi, also noted that the process was “running without any problems” and that there had been no complaints so far.
By 3:00 p.m., a total of 845 citizens had voted at the “Sami Frashëri” polling station, reflecting a steady turnout and a generally peaceful atmosphere.
Many voters shared a common sentiment — hope for meaningful change in Pristina’s leadership as the city continues to face challenges in infrastructure, public services, and governance.
