The past week was significant regarding the trial of former Kosovo war leaders and political figures. For four consecutive days in The Hague, former American diplomat Christopher Hill testified regarding Thaçi and others. The next expected witness is former General Wesley Clark.

Ali Ahmeti, leader of the Democratic Union for Integration (BDI), stated that the testimonies of American representatives at the Special Court in The Hague confirm the just and pure nature of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA)’s struggle.

“The American testimony in The Hague proves the righteousness of the Albanian people’s liberation war in Kosovo,” Ahmeti wrote.

He emphasized that Ambassador Christopher Hill, a renowned expert on the region, confirmed during his testimony this week that only the criminal Slobodan Milošević considered the KLA to be criminal, and no one else did.

According to Ahmeti, this supports ongoing claims that “our liberators are being judged under fabricated charges in Belgrade, orchestrated by Moscow.”

“Following these confirmations from high-ranking American authorities, and what will be presented next week by General Wesley Clark, only the final merit decision remains: freedom for the liberators!” the BDI leader stressed.
