The Hydrometeorological Institute of Kosovo (IHMK) has announced that rain is expected on Tuesday and Wednesday, which could cause floods in some areas of the country.
According to IHMK, rainfall is expected to begin on Tuesday evening, initially in the western part of Kosovo, and will gradually spread across the entire territory.
The announcement notes that the rain will have moderate intensity, with some areas experiencing heavier rainfall.
“Based on the data, models, and general hydrometeorological observations in the country and the region, rainfall is expected on November 18–19, 2025, which in some areas may occur with high intensity,” the Institute stated.
The regions most at risk due to the rapid increase in water flow include: the middle and lower course of the White Drin, Bistrica of Prizren, Mirusha, Toplluha, Ereniku, Bistrica of Deçan, as well as some mountainous streams.
