The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) has once again resorted to electoral manipulation by creating a fraudulent list under the name “Europe and the Young,” representatives of the “United for Negotin” list announced on Twitter (X) today.
According to the announcement, SNS collected signatures to form the list and is now presenting it as part of the opposition, a blatant attempt to mislead voters and distort the democratic process. “SNS collected their signatures, and now they present themselves as the opposition. It’s a classic fraud. Let’s be smarter than that,” the statement read.
Further raising concerns about the legitimacy of the list, unverified reports published on X indicate that out of the 16 candidates on the “Europe and the Young” list, nine are pensioners, suggesting that the SNS is prioritizing appearances over qualified representation.
This move is yet another example of SNS’s ongoing attempts to manipulate elections, confuse voters, and maintain its grip on power through deceptive tactics rather than genuine democratic engagement.
