Kosovo’s Acting Minister of Culture, Hajrullah Çeku, has highly praised the performance of the Kosovo Philharmonic and Kosovo Opera during a concert held last night at the Santa Maria in Aracoeli Basilica in the Vatican, describing it as a night that filled them with great pride.

The event was attended by Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, underscoring the significance of the cultural presentation for Kosovo.

The concert was organized in cooperation with the Bartolucci Foundation, as part of the Vatican’s Jubilee activities.

Çeku stated that the performance by the orchestra, choirs, and soloists Besa Llugiqi, Ivana Hoxha, Carlos Cardoso, and Biagio Pizzuti, under the direction of Italian maestro Jacopo Sipari di Pescasseroli, delivered a powerful interpretation of Domenico Bartolucci’s oratorio “La Tempesta sul Lago”.

He emphasized that the evening demonstrated the power of art as the best representative of the state on international stages, in front of a broad cultural and diplomatic audience. Çeku congratulated the institutions and artists for their outstanding work.
