The Slovak Football Federation has officially classified the Slovakia vs Kosovo World Cup 2026 playoff semifinal as a high-risk event, despite the match being more than three months away. The game is scheduled for March 26, 2026, at the National Stadium in Bratislava.

Tickets for the match have already gone on sale and are nearly sold out. Slovakia has implemented strict measures to ensure the majority of spectators are Slovak fans, limiting Kosovo supporters to 5% of the stadium capacity—approximately 1,125 tickets for Kosovo fans.

“Kosovo fans will be able to purchase tickets for the designated visitor section. Tickets will be purchased directly through the Football Federation of Kosovo, ensuring safe and organized fan support for both teams,” the Slovak Federation stated.

Security will be tight, with all tickets issued to named individuals and identity checks at stadium entrances. This follows Slovakia’s commitment to qualifying for the 2026 World Cup in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, and Kosovo’s ambition to reach the tournament as well.

Kosovo has shown strong support in recent away matches, particularly in Ljubljana against Slovenia last month, and hopes to build on that momentum in Bratislava.
