Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani stated that intensive meetings with European leaders in Brussels produced concrete results, leading to the decision to lift European Union measures imposed on Kosovo.
In a video shared on her official Facebook account, Osmani highlighted that the discussions took place during the EU–Western Balkans Summit and described the outcome as a significant step forward for Kosovo.
Decision to Lift EU Measures
According to Osmani, the summit resulted in the removal of what she described as unjust measures imposed on Kosovo, following sustained diplomatic engagement and coordination with European partners.
“The intensive meetings during the EU–Western Balkans Summit in Brussels delivered concrete results for our country. At last, the decision was taken to lift the unjust measures imposed on Kosovo,” Osmani wrote.

The President expressed gratitude to European Union leaders and international partners for recognizing Kosovo’s continued commitment and efforts.
“I sincerely thank the leaders of the European Union, as well as all our partners, for acknowledging Kosovo’s tireless engagement,” she added.
The lifting of EU measures is widely seen as a positive signal for Kosovo’s European integration process and its relations with Brussels.
