Kosovo Police have seized three firearms, 240 rounds of ammunition and a pair of binoculars during a search of an abandoned house in Leposaviq, authorities confirmed.
According to the official police report, the incident occurred on December 19, 2025, at around 22:07, as part of routine police operations aimed at ensuring public safety.
The case has been classified as “illegal possession of weapons”, and all items discovered were confiscated as material evidence.
“Police units, during a search of an abandoned house, found and seized three different types of firearms, 240 rounds of ammunition, and a pair of binoculars. By decision of the prosecutor, the case will be processed under regular legal procedure,” Kosovo Police said in a statement.
Authorities have not yet provided additional details regarding ownership of the weapons or whether any suspects have been identified.
