The Kosovo Chamber of Commerce (KCC) has reacted to the fire that engulfed part of the Comodita Home factory in Gjakova, describing the incident as a significant loss for both the local and national economy.
In its statement, the KCC emphasized that the damage goes beyond the company itself and affects the broader economic ecosystem of Kosovo.
“Considering that Devolli Group is among the largest taxpayers in Kosovo and one of the main pillars of the private sector, the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce calls on the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to provide institutional and financial support so that the company can recover as quickly as possible and continue its business operations,” the KCC stated.
The Chamber also underlined that it stands in solidarity with Comodita and Devolli Group, expressing full support for their recovery efforts and the continuation of their business activities.
“The Kosovo Chamber of Commerce is confident that this company will overcome this difficult situation and will continue to make a strong contribution to the country’s economic development,” the statement concluded.
